Will Harris be leaving Cardiff this Summer?

The young winger looked like a promising prospect when he was brought to South Wales, but has failed to show his true potential.

The Bluebirds have lacked that cutting edge and Harris was deemed to spark something new for the club.

He has pace and power, but hasn’t been able to deal with the tough nature of the Championship.

He has been on loan with Barnsley at the start of the season, and has showed signs of a quality player.

With more experience and playing time, I think the supporters would like to see Harris in a Cardiff shirt as he is still a raw young talent that could make a impression next season.

Young players signing for Cardiff is a proven waste of time for all concerned. Years of his short career playing DVP friendlies he can't get back

I like the lad Harris and wish he could have had more chances but the wing positions are ones where we have very good options in Pilks, Noone, Sammi, Whits, Ralls and Lawrence so his route to the first team has been congested.
It also seems that every year around this time the statement that “next season will be a big one for him” is touted but time and again it fails to materialise. For the good of himself it might be time to move on, although you just know he will be a star at another club and another one will have got away.

Youth here will always struggle when we're choosing 35 year old has beens over promising youngsters in cup games.

That's not a dig just at Cardiff, it's happening everywhere. I would prefer a strong league pyramid where the young players are competing, rather than them playing DVP friendlies.

Tan might of said it in self interest, but he is right when he said the TV money should be more generous to the football league clubs as the only reason young players are stockpiled and play meaningless games is because of the money the clubs have.

If I have unexpected money, i'm obliged to spend some of it :laughing6: same with these rich football clubs.

He's quick, strong, only 19. Let's buy him put him in our DVP team.

Spending for spending's sake. The player was never bought to challenge the starting 11

Solution: give these oversized bloated squads less money :laughing6:

Doesn't seem to have been given that much of a chance at first team level. Clearly has some ability but would love to him getting more regular game time for us.
