DERBY County's international players have reported back fit and available for Saturday's trip to Cardiff City.

Cyrus Christie played 90 minutes for the Republic of Ireland in a 2-2 draw against Slovakia in Dublin on Tuesday night. Rams team-mate Richard Keogh was an unused substitute.

Meanwhile, Derby striker Chris Martin came off the bench during the second half of Scotland's 1-0 win over Denmark at Hampden Park on the same evening.

Rams head coach Darren Wassall has confirmed that all three players have returned unscathed ahead of the visit to Cardiff this weekend.

"They're all back and in fine fettle, which is good news," said Wassall.

Jeff Hendrick returned early from Ireland duty due to a shoulder injury but both he and defender Jason Shackell are fit to face Cardiff.

Jason Shackell and Jeff Hendrick will be fit for Derby County's Sky Bet Championship clash with Cardiff City on Saturday.

Defender Shackell was forced off late on in the 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest with a groin injury, while midfielder Hendrick returned early from international duty with the Republic of Ireland due to a shoulder problem.

However, both players have trained with the Rams squad this week and are available for selection to face Cardiff.

"Jeff came back from international duty as a precaution," said Rams head coach Darren Wassall.

"Ireland didn't want to risk him, so he's trained with us this week.

"Jason didn't play in Shaun Barker's testimonial but has trained this week.

"So, both he and Jeff are available for selection this weekend."
