" Winter: Neville among Villa frontrunners "

31/03/16

Journalist Henry Winter says Gary Neville could make a swift return to management.

Neville has been sacked by Valencia, and Winter believes he is amongst the frontrunners to succeed Remi Garde at Aston Villa.

The chief football writer for The Times says Neville is "second favourite" for the job after David Moyes.

Villa have got enough problems already.

They need an experienced manager especially going down a division.

They need Nigel Pearson with his Championship experience.

Neville has already virtually ruined his management career, sad really, nice fella.

Don't think he has Annis. Valencia were already in a mess before he went, and their fans were against how their club was being run. He didn't really help I'll admit.

Think he'll get back in to management soon. Villa wouldn't be a good job for him though, they've got too many problems. Need an experienced manager.

Should never have been offered the Valencia job as he had zero experience. Only got the job because he's mates with the owner. Think he's quite clever though and will learn from the experience.

Hasn't thrown his toys out of the pram since being sacked to be fair to him.

Compare Jimmy Floyd Hasselbiank and Gary Neville, one has earnt respect as a Manager, the other has lost it all.

Surely he won't go back to Sky. Although it would be quite funny and hypocritical to see him patronising managers again.

Hmmmmm I have heard that one somewhere before and I'm sure the ex-Manchester United star turned manager didn't work out ;)
