" Cardiff City anticipating huge crowd ahead of pivotal Derby County clash "
31/03/16
The South Wales club's highest attendance this season was 15,461 in their victory over Preston North End.
More than 20,000 fans are expected to embark on the Cardiff City stadium this weekend in what could be a pivotal game for both sides in the race for the play-offs.
The Cardiff fans have dwindled away from the stadium this season and recorded their lowest ever attendance when only 13, 371 watched them beat Middlesbrough – their lowest attendance since 2009.
The Bluebirds have offered a ticket deal for anyone who buys a season ticket for next season receives two free tickets for the game at the weekend.
The club have revealed that season tickets are selling at the fastest rate since the 2011-2012 when they reached the Championship play offs and the League Cup final.
Cardiff will be boosted by their fans turning out in numbers and could essentially drive them onto victory against Derby County.
