Careful Annis the National Football Intelligence Unit monitor this board and we don't want to see them launching a city wide raid on Cardiff's care homes ;)

Could have just been waiting to catch a train to Barry Island for a day at the funfair!

Scandalous accusation that they were waiting for Millwall - maybe it was just a coincidence that they were at the station at the same time the Millwall train was due in.

Tony, this picture appeared on Facebook this morning and as everyone knows I put out all football stuff on City from the old days and current days, the carehomes are on red alert

I went to that game! It was 0-0. We got promoted, along with Millwall and Hereford, from division three at the end of the season. I wasn't at the station, but I can remember the Millwall fans coming from there to the ground in corporation double decker buses. They were in the enclosure, (underneath the grandstand), towards the Canton end. Don't remember seeing any trouble, although I would have walked up Tudor Street to town afterwards. Can't say I recognise anyone in the photo.

That was a great season!

I think this was the time when the old bill escorted Millwall back to the station after the game and walked them down Wellington street, Cowbridge road and then Westgate street. There was a few of us outside Asteys café by the bus station and Millwall spotted us and came charging across what was then waste ground but is now south gate house. Bubble, older lads will remember him, ran straight into them, hundreds of them, he floored a few before a motorcycle cop drove his bike into the crowd to separate Bubble from Millwall. Fair play, he was brave/mad as feck

I remember a crowd of 36,000 for a tuesday game against Hereford that season-think it was a record attendance at the time for the old division 3 (equivelent to league 1 today)

It wasn't long after the Millwall game. Won 2-0. Seems like yesterday!
