So sad. By all accounts a lovely man when sober.

Had he joined man united instead of Spurs I think he'd have been managed better by fergie and probably wouldn't be in this state now.

Where are all the hangers on now? At times like this people need their friends. Now that he's in the gutter the so called mates are nowhere to be seen. An old mate of mine is an alcoholic. He's turned up at mine twice in an awful state. My wife and I took him in for a couple of days each time and helped him get back on his feet. He's been sober for over a year now and is sorting his life out. I just hope gazza gets sorted before it's too late.

His friends paid for him to go to Arizona for him to get rehab I do recall. Gary Linekar, Chris Evans, Gary Mabbutt.etc.

He's had help but at the end if the day you've got to want to help yourself.

Gazza is not in the gutter he has been sober for a year and hopefully this just a blip in his recovery.

I agree. My thoughts exactly. Poor Gazza. He surrounded himself with people after his money hence some pretty poor moves and decisions.
