A couple of journo's on Twitter saying Swansea board members maintain no agreements in place with any manager for next season.

I agree with this, going back to a former club, very rarely comes off for some reason

A weak season, they borrowed Siguardsson and Caulker, and with Willaims just managed to stay up, I agree with Gaereth, he is overated he used his contacts well in those two seasons, if he comes back to them, I expect he will be back to Liverpool for Klopps rejects.....

Let's hope he goes back and the theory is proved right.
In my opinion Rodgers is vastly overrated. His success at Swansea was built on the foundations laid by Martinez. Martinez weakness as a manager is defence and after he left Sousa sorted that out. Rodgers came in and used his Chelsea connections to bring in Sinclair and Then Borini. Sinclair was key to them going up.
At Liverpool when Sturbridge and Suarez were fit the team was able to beat teams thanks to the fire power rather than Rodgers tactics. As soon as those 2 were out of the team they struggled. Once Suarez left Liverpool became a mid table team and despite Rodgers spending millions he was a flop.
Let him go back to the vermin.

Michu having the season of his life and chipping in with some 25 goals from midfield was a huge part of their first season success though and no way would anyone including Rogers have predicted he would have that kind of impact.
He's had his acheivments for sure but he just seems to be a lucky bugger!

You're confusing their first season in the league with the second season. Michu joined in time for the second season, which was the season when he scored all those goals. Rodgers, incidentally, had left at the end of the first season to join Liverpool.
