English Bias

Sat Mar 26, 2016 8:49 pm

Watching the England match, both teams playing very average but if you listen to Hoddle you'd think England are world beaters. Another example, North London derby Kane scored a very good goal (fair enough) however in the post match highlights there was no mention of Ramsey's equally as clever flicked goal. If he was English they'd have been ranting and raving about it. English bastards.

:sleepy2:

It's English coverage of an English game, I expect it to be bias and rightly so. Same as Thursdays coverage was bias in favour of Wales.

Thursday's match was another crap game, that should have been said by the commentators.

You're missing the point, Ramsey scored a cracker and wasn't even mentioned (In the North London Derby post match analysis). The hype they give someone like Alli, could you imagine if Bale was English?

I'm sure they mentioned it and don't even go there with Bale he had plenty of plaudits and recognition from the media. Fact is people like you would have a violent fit if the Welsh media was bigging up English prospects but you are squaking because the English media in your eyes aren't giving our players a fair crack of the whip.

Stop talking shit. Ramsey's goal wasn't mentioned in the post match analysis indeed. What a load of cobblers.

You were probably one of the cunts cheering and chanting Ramsey's name when he scored against us for Arsenal you sad tw*t.

Good response Woody. Just remember lots of Welsh folk get along just fine with our neighbours over the bridge.

Oops - just seen Polo's efforts. Oh dear.

Why should Ramsey be mentioned? It's an England game, and it doesn't involved Wales.

They would have been talking about the players involved in the match they're covering.

As has been said, there will always be an element of bias when a broadcaster is showing a match involving their nation.
