Simon Moore has done his reputation no harm whatsoever during his two games in goal.
He kept a clean sheet against against Ipswich and no one could blame him for failing to keep out Gareth McCleary's brilliant individual effort at the Madejski Stadium.
If David Marshall is unable to recover from his battle with pneumonia over the next week and a half, Moore has more than allayed fears that the defence would be unsettled.

Still, the Goalkeeper will be called upon much more in the next two games, and it will be an almighty boost if they can get Marshall back between the sticks.
Derby have invested a staggering amount in their attacking line-up, and carry a goal threat from Jacob Butterfield and Bradley Johnson's long-range shooting prowess right up to Johnny Russell and Chris Martin in the box.
Burnley, meanwhile, are the form team of the Championship, and look almost unstoppable at the moment.
Andre Gray is the Championship's top scorer,Gray will test Cardiff's defence.
They have the ability to blow teams off the park, particularly with the relentless Andre Gray topping the Championship goal scoring charts.
If Cardiff are going to get anything from Turf Moor, you suspect their goalkeeper will have to have a very good evening.
Marshall remains the most likely man in the division to do that.
