Yes, I agree. The authorities are watching potential jihadists as best they can under very difficult circumstances. Friends, families, Colleagues and neighbours also need to (and often do) take an active part in identifying those who are susceptible and are (to them) loved ones

In a similar vein, the authorities do their best to weed out the less savoury element of modern football fans (times really have moved on) and although occasionally they'll get a few wrong (the infamous Chelsea vs City game springs to mind) in the main those caught and banned from football matches have usually done something to deserve it (even if they obviously don't always agree with it) and that's far removed from being 'racist'
