" Leeds United set to sack manager Steve Evans, foreign coach lined up as replacement "
22/03/16
Leeds United are set to sack manager Steve Evans, with owner Massimo Cellino lining up a foreign coach as his replacement, according the Daily Mail.
The Championship side were downed 4-1 by Huddersfield Town at Elland Road in a Yorkshire derby last Saturday, and it seems that it will be the nail in the coffin for boss Steve Evans.
Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is notorious for his trigger-happy nature when sacking managers, with the controversial Italian already sacking five managers during his time at the helm at Leeds.
It seems that Cellino has already lined up a foreign coach as Evans' replacement, but the identity of the manager is yet to be disclosed.
The Yorkshire club currently occupy 13th place in the Sky Bet Championship, in what has been an inconsistent season for the Whites.
Leeds United face another Yorkshire derby when they face Rotherham United in their next Sky Championship fixture, and it is seemingly looking like Evans will not be in charge for that match.
