" No ageement on New Contract and Jacks "

Talks between Wales FA Chiefs and Chris Coleman over a new contract have broken down, which is not very good for moral and team spirit.
Apparently Swansea City are interested in speaking to Coleman for next season.

Chris Coleman has said " Ideally I would like it done before Wales go in to tournament, but if we don't agree it then,it won't be done"

Not good news annis we need to be heading Into the euros as mentally strong and we need unity if we're going to have a succesful tournament

A managers contract situation will have no bearing on performances at the tournament

Typical FAW and in line with past events (the late Terry Yorath springs mind)

Coleman (few wanted him as manager after Gary Speed's transformation of the side) has proved a lot of people wrong

I am pretty sure he won't have been given a massive contract as he started to re-build his managerial career and even though he has led Wales to their second best ever tournament campaign (World Cup Quarter Finals in 1958 is still the best) the FAW will likely expect him to carry on for peanuts!

Never a better time for Coleman to negotiate a 'good' deal and with Guidolin possibly departing the Jacks in the summer following his illness (blamed on the damp Swansea air and with the possibility of the Italy job being offered) Coleman may just be in the best bargaining position of his life! ;)

Whatever happens with Wales in finals i expect him to go to the jacks as he is from there.
Any success with WALES will make clubs take more notice as that is where the money is managing a club side.

Thought that Terry Yorath is still alive?

Without being able to call on Bale and Ramsey Coleman will prove to be no more than an average manager, just as he was before he took over the work which Gary Speed started.

With a bit of luck he'd get the Jacks relegated!

Gary Speed did a great job, as has Chris Coleman, but John Toshack gave a few if the current Wales squad their first caps. Tosh was looking forward ten years down the line. Credit to him, too.

I think Coleman just followed Gary Speeds plan, however if we need to give credit to this Wales team a man called Bryan Flynn did really well with our youngsters and those youngsters are the ones who are our stars today and will be playing for us in the euros

He is and I apologise profusley for the faux pas. I'm sure Terry will be pleased, too!

If you knew anything about Wales' development over the last few years, you'd know that at first, Coleman tried keeping things exactly the way Speed was doing them, but then realised (after humiliation in Serbia) that he needed to do things his way. And success followed.
