Too late, Blair and Mandelson have done incalculable damage to this country wth their open borders policy, couple that with the absurd political correct fascism they espoused, where Muslim behaviour could not be challenged without some handwringing rocket screaming racist. Now look where we are.

And how things have changed under Cameron and Osbourne

I think you'll find that Blair went to war with a number of Muslim countries. The fact is we live in a global society and immigration (which I'm not a supporter of) is here to stay.

I was deeply saddened listening to the news this morning as the events unfolded, having been to Belgium several times and I have Belgian friends its been on my mind all day. Rip to those who died in these awful events

Under Cameron non EU migration has dropped, personally except for the Roma I welcome inward EU migration. Blair opened the doors to anyone because he believed migrants would vote Labour. Both him and Mandlson have admitted this.

You should remember that the refugees/migrants are running away from the people who set off these bombs.

Around 75-80% of these migrants are young men, instead of leaving their wives, mothers and children in danger why don't they fight to free their country. Gutless bastards.

Get used to it.

The politicians both here and Europe have imported in all the trouble.

Europe is now finished and the UK is heading for disaster!!

Only right-wing type politicians can now sort this out, but the Brits/Welsh keep voting for weak Marxist lefties - and therein lies our problems!!

It could have happened to this city, remember some of the first to leave the UK to fight in Syria were those bros from Grangetown, thankfully they had bombs dropped on their heads otherwise god knows what they could have done if they returned here.

French Intelligence state over 9,000 serious players are now in France. They are losing the battle to keep on top as more and more are being recruited. Britain has over 4,000 + and Europe has already lost control!

The left-wing marxist governments need kicking out both here and in Europe - otherwise we're all £ucked!

I also remember the arrests just before Christmas in 2010 in Cowbridge Road West & Neville Road.http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales ... st-1881393

In 2014, an ISIS group had a barbecue at Cosmeston near Penarth, preaching terrorism & openly flying ISIS flags, wearing ISIS t-shirts and only 50 yards from the childrens playground. http://www.penarthtimes.co.uk/news/11316928.display/

Sadly, how much worse does this have to become before it gets better? This is what happens when you have an uncontrolled open border policy and I fear it now maybe to late to make this better.

I agree with what you say but feel obliged to point out that alot of the recent bombings are from home grown(2nd generation)people.

They are. The question is how do you stop these 2nd generation individuals from being violently radicalised? The uncontrolled open-door immigration policy led to mass 1st generation settlement and general non-integration. Why do these individuals then get brainwashed into wanting cowardly to murder their 'fellow' countrymen in the country that has given them and their families a future? What shocks us all is the reality of the scale of this in the UK. When you take a look at the scale of this globally it is beyond belief.
