NEW TEXT SCAM!!!

If you get messages randomly appear like this don't ignore them even though you haven't signed up to anything!

Every time you do you will be hit for £3 and I'm not even sure if sending stop sorts it. They come through on the same day each week and gradually pinch your money. I ignored them thinking it was some sort of scam which is exactly what they want you to do! Really not sure how they get away with this.

My oldman had one with saying they were hmrc scamming bastards

I also got scammed by this a few weeks ago. Managed to do a bit of research and the parent company behind this are called Zamano. I managed to find a number for them, called up and complained and they actually sent me a cheque refunding me and blocking all further texts. I was very sceptical that the cheque would arrive but it did.
The lady I spoke with was very helpful and clearly takes calls like mine all the time. Here is their number 0845 225 2244. I promise you will get your refund and the texts stopped.

I had something like this and had to get Vodafone to block anyone taking payments

I had this and they were charging me 4quid a month. I let it go the 1st time as i thought it was a one off. 2nd time i blocked the number but they still charged me. I txt stop but that didnt stop it so the month after a txt stopall and i have not had one after that.

Discusting someone can just charge you for something you dont want or asked for.
