Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard admits he will be open to offers both as a player and a coach in December.

The 35-year-old's contract with LA Galaxy expires in eight months and it was expected to be his last season as a professional.

Gerrard does not yet know if he will be asked to stay on in California or whether he should hang up his boots and join the backroom staff, he told fashion brand Mr Porter.

He needs to prove himself on Monday night football first like Gary Neville did.
