Hereford

I know it's not Cardiff related but a mate of mine in work is Hereford season ticket holder and has stuck with them through thick and thin. On the weekend they reached the final of the fa vase trophy and will be appearing at Wembley in may. And top of the league think they are something like 7 league's lower than conference.
Just thought it's worth a mention how well they have done despite going into administration :ayatollah:

Always had a bit of a soft spot for Hereford(and Bristol Rovers) so really hope they can turn things around. Spent a few weekends away in Hereford and, considering it's a border City, the people are really friendly to the Welsh and are real piss heads. Always thought it was an Olympic city mind with the amount of people walking around in tracksuit bottoms.

One of the greatest ever Ninian Park nights was against Hereford. Wish them well.

They had a crowd of over 4500 including 550 Salisbury fans for first leg. 2nd leg saw capacity crowd of 3500 in Salisbury with 600 Hereford. Great support.

Good to see Hereford fans sticking by there Club. In a way I bet they are loving there journey, new grounds and being the big club as well. In a weird sort of way I envy them. To do these new grounds must be like the old days.
Talking to one old Cardiff Fan who left because of the re brand and he now follows Merthyr and he was saying he has no plans to come back as he is loving following Merthyr to these small grounds like Mangotsfield in Bristol or Weston or Tiverton. Having a pint on the terraces, no massive Police, they are just having fun. Sounds like heaven to me.

Also know a Hereford fan and pleased for them :ayatollah:

Worcester used to have quite a few Monday matches and I'd go and watch a couple of them before their home games got moved to Kidderminster. Great to see players who are in it because they love the game and not just about money.

No mate. Bryn Oakley. He did say about the crowd. Been averaging crowds 2000+ most of season. Also expecting 15-20000 for final

My son lives in Hereford so i have been up to watch a game with him was great breakfast in pub watched early game went to match £8 ticket in stand then back to pub after game watch teatime game. They play good football for there league there striker had scored over 30 goals by october.

They have won 31 2 draws last 33 games so a cup league double looking good for them this season.

I might be going to the finals with my son as there at wembley they play 2 finals same day FA Trophy and the FA Vase.

Hereford said on there web page they expect up to 15000 to go to the final,as the average in there league is in 100s thats amazing

They have done really well to put the club back together from nothing and achieve such a lot.

Their official website says they are second in their league , 5 points (but with a game in hand) behind Alvechurch who they travel to play on Easter Monday with their maximum allocation of 900 travelling supporters. They are expecting to take 15,000 supporters to Wembley for the final.
