' What Do you think? Do you Agree? '
The standard in the Championship is not that high
By Reading Vital

Going into the game, Reading were in 15th spot and Cardiff seventh in the league table.
The Bluebirds were (and still are) 14 points ahead of Royals, but judging by the game at the Mad Stad, there was really very little between the two sides and if anything, Reading shaded it.
Granted Cardiff had a number of players out injured, but on another day it could have been a convincing victory for Reading.

More often than not, Reading looked more of a threat going forward and more solid defensively.
It just goes to show there is very little between most of the teams in the Championship.

Statement of the bleedin obvious.

Don't agree. They were the home side, home teams tend to get the better chances and possession etc. We beat them 2-0 at ours, we are where we are because we've had better results over the season to date. Scratching around for excuses if you ask me.

People been saying all season that no team has really stood out and most look similar standard. Which imo the championship has been like that for a few seasons. Which is why it's so hard to get out of! If we had a Andre grey or abel hernandez we would be top 2

This statement is turned out every year

If a European competition existed for second tier divisions then I would predict that it would be an all Championship Final if not Semi-Final.
The Championship is a great league and for years it has undersold itself.

i think reading are a decent team which as under achieved this season.. they look quite decent in possession , fast tricky wingers, but cant kill you off. as usual in this league, a tight defence and a potent attack will take you up, not the pretty stuff in between

Without a doubt the standard is nowhere near where it used to be, to think of a side of koumas bothroyd chops ledley to name but a few who couldn't get promotion, it's slipped but a great competition none the less

You say that but the Champions of the Championship 2 years ago will more than likely be Premiership Champions in a couple of months. The Championship is the feeder league for the PL and as that is the most competitive league in the world then it is hard to understand how standards have supposed to have slipped?

Leicester have done fantastic, but its a really unique situation. Is the premiership as strong as it was?
