MARSHALL

Cardiff City could be without goalkeeper David Marshall for a second consecutive game as the 31-year-old continues to battle a virus.

Marshall has been absent for much of the week in preparation for the trip to Reading and is rated very doubtful, meaning Simon Moore may get the chance to deputise again.

Moore came in for the 1-0 win over Ipswich at the Cardiff City Stadium last weekend as the Bluebirds maintained their position on the edge of the play-offs - his sixth appearance of the season.

WHITTINGHAM

Peter Whittingham hopes to train on Friday after undergoing light sessions on a hamstring injury but remains a doubt for the trip to the Madejski Stadium.

FABIO

Fabio, suffering with a groin problem, could make the substitutes bench.

ZOHORE
Kenneth Zohore is ruled out with a hamstring injury.

He came off shortly after the hour mark of the Bluebirds development side's 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Monday.

Whittingham has been class the last month or two . He wasn't bad before that just out of position . We will miss his creativity and range of passing . He is a big loss but better to rest him for another week and have him for the run in than lose him for the season by playing him too early .

Saadis injury and fitness just seems to be taking forever. Will be nice to see him play a run of games before the end of the season so they know if he'll make the grade next season

No point in "trying him for a run of games" until we can't make it to the playoffs, unless he has to cover injuries. The strongest available team is what we need at the moment, not tryouts for next season.

I prefer a winger to dribble and beat a man personally and offer pace and an attacking threat whitts hasent got that in his locker. Just a differance of opinion i guess.
