Jake Cooper returns after serving a one-match suspension and Matej Vydra is still not being risked for more than 60-65 minutes but elsewhere, the Royals are injury free and Brian McDermott has a full squad to pick from. Welsh international Hal Robson-Kanu is expected to start.
Cardiff City
Fabio returns from a one-match suspension while Peter Whittingham battles for fitness after picking up a hamstring tweak last time out. David Marshall missed the Bluebirds’ last clash after picking up a virus but he is expected to return, if he is deemed unfit then Simon Moore will remain between the sticks for Cardiff. Ben Turner will remain out for anther 2-3 weeks.
Federico Macheda recently departed on loan, joining Nottingham Forest until the end of the season, Tommy O’Sulivan has re-joined Newport County and Deji Oshilaja re-joined Gillingham on loan.
