Talk Sport (mainly Darren Gough) have a theory that he's really cheesed off with recent signings at the club (Downing and Rhodes specifically) and he wants out in readiness for a reunion with Jose Mourinho at ManUre in the summer!

I personally think that he is so passionate about Boro and doing a great job that he was pissed off with the players, particularly the new ones for not sharing his desire to succeed. That's why he walked out because he had a go at them for it and they must have responded badly. They've lost 3 of the last 4 games and have a massive game on the weekend, he probably called a crisis meeting and went off on one.
