If Marshall leaves, we need a new goalkeeper, all those who have said Moore would be an adequate replacement for Marshallare off their heads,, he was terrible today, easy catches dropped, coming for the ball and missing it, totally unconvincing

agreed.

Def judge him after one game not six that's the only way

He's stepped in admirably this season, think you'd be surprised how well we have done with him in goals. Cannot be easy coming in cold.

I also thought Pilks was out of sorts today, but that could be due to the ball being lumped up to him instead of them passing it through to him

Clean sheet enough said.

Did he even make a save?
I can't remember Ipswich having a shot on target.

He's had Moore than one game (I show my self out after that one) to show that he can battle with Marshal but he's been quite shocking in most of those games, His inability to control his box and judging situation nearly cost us a few time today and have cost us in the past. We will certainly need a better GK if Marshal leave

I knew people would say this, some people are just blind. (In reply to Tony)

He's crap always has been.....

To be fair he has only played the odd game when Marshall has been out so bit harsh to judge him yet. Especially today, he probably only had a couple of hours notice that Marshall was ill and wouldn't play, called up for what was a big game, having not played for months. Not ideal preparation.

He was our best player away at Brighton. May be the point that seals a top 6 finish this season.

He s not very good at coming for crosses

Flapped alarmingly at a number of crosses as does Marshall.
Both goalies remain rooted to their goal line as if they've been nailed there - even when crosses come into the 6 yard box they are both reluctant to come for the ball and neither of them are "dominant" keepers.
Both are very good shot stoppers however.
Is it a coaching thing perhaps? Are they encouraged to stay on their line for all crosses and expect the centre halfs to deal with everything into the box rather than the keepers coming to claim the ball?
Seems that way.

He went window cleaning for a few crosses!

If you'd have said the same a year ago, I would have defended him.
But now, from what I've seen this season when he's played, he's been a liability at times. He was good at Brighton, but then he was poor against Fulham. He doesn't look confident at all when he's playing.
With him in goal, I get worried every time the opposition go forward. Marshall makes me feel a lot more confident.
So I'd agree, we will need a new goalkeeper if Marshall does go.

To show he can battle with Marshall

one of the best keepers outside the Prem in this country. By this standard basically no championship keeper is good enough.
Controlling the box isn't exactly something Marshall excels at either.
Moore needs a run of games to be judged properly.
