HITC Sport understands Nottingham Forest loan signing has a buy-out clause in his deal

Nottingham Forest loan signing Federico Macheda has a buy-out clause in his contract at Championship rivals Cardiff City, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Forest boss Dougie Freedman has been looking to bolster his attacking options with Nelson Oliveira struggling with a groin problem and long-term absentees Britt Assombalonga and Matty Fryatt still on the injury list.
Freedman has moved quickly to agree a deal for Macheda with the Italian finding himself down the pecking order at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Macheda has made just eight appearances for Cardiff this season with all of those coming on as a substitute.
The 24-year-old, who has started just 13 games for Cardiff since his arrival in the summer of 2014 from Manchester United, will join Forest on loan until the end of the season with Cardiff having a recall clause in his deal.
The Italian has just over a year to run on his current deal at Cardiff and HITC Sport understands Macheda has a buy-out clause in his contract which Forest could look to trigger that clause if he impresses during his loan stint at the City Ground.
Macheda began his career at Manchester United and played for QPR, Stuttgart, Doncaster Rovers and Birmingham City on loan before joining Cardiff.

If Nottingham F asked I'm sure we would give him away for nothing. If they wish to 'trigger' a buy-out clause then it would be most welcome

We don't have to play Forest again this year.
Also they aren't a threat for the play offs, so let's hope he does well.
Let's face it, he's rotting here and a good run at Forest could restart his career, either with us, or elsewhere with City getting a fee and a big earner off the books.

How times have changed
At the beginning of the season we had 7 out and out Strikers Kenwyn..Macheda..Mason..Guera..Doyle..Le Fondre and
Velonkonia...all have since left and we got 2 midfield players upfront.....and we look much more dangerous going forward!!

Shows how much money has been wasted on strikers we also have Doyle ,AlF ,Healey none of these have been any value.
