Russell Slade on how tough the jobs been

Fri Mar 11, 2016 11:06 am

At today's Press Conference

Is this the toughest journey of your career?

Russell Slade Replied
They are all tough that’s for sure. This was a tough one from the start. It did not take too many weeks for me to be aware of the journey ahead. I just rolled my sleeves up and got stuck into the job. It’s only by working so hard, the staff, the players, everybody and together
trying to give the club a direction that things start to come together. They are coming together, inch by inch.

Fair play he has had some stick over the last 12 months or so but he is now reaping the benefits and fighting for a play-off spot :ayatollah:

We are always a big job :ayatollah: big fish in a mad pond :bluescarf:

He has done his job, nice bloke but not the one to lead us into the promised land :ayatollah:

Be better upstairs if he did for any reward, old head to bounce off and sort other stuff :D

Could'nt have put it better myself. Still don't feel he has the tactics and style for the modern game.

No offence mate but I've always thought fans that think they know best are one of the managers bigger pains in the arse.

None taken :ayatollah:

It's my opinion but appears backed by thousands of others :bluebird:

I can't be bought or swayed from what is on offer simples and have never been one of these fickle swayed types :old:
