RUSSELL SLADE ON HOW THE FANS ARE CHANGING

By Simon Gaskel

Friday 11th March 2016

Is there a change in feelings towards you from the fans?

Russell Slade:I hope that is the case. It is more than appreciated. I’ve said to be successful we all have to be pulling in same direction. When you have that you have an opportunity to get where you want to get.

Slade on the positive response from fans despite defeat to Leeds

Slade on the ovation from fans after Tuesday’s loss:

The response in the second half was despite the obstacles, the challenges. We’d lost a player. Their goalkeeper was in inspired form, hitting the woodwork, but we kept pouring forward. The subs made an impact. We could not have done any more. Not couldn’t get much more from any player to try to turn it around. They threw everything at it. Everyone saw it and felt it. It’s great the fans stayed behind to give them their appreciation. We were hurt after. Most days you win that game.

So important to remain positive and support the team, especially when they gave a performance like they did on Tuesday night. I hope we'll get a good turnout tomorrow and equally the fans back the lads 100%, will help so much in getting the 3 points :thumbright: :ayatollah:
