Managing by numbers

That is why we shouldn't give him another contract.

Before the sending off we are 1-0 down, connolly is have a mare, Leeds are the worse team i have seen all season, and he takes Whitts off for Noone, why not 3 at the back and bring on Saadi ? We needed a fox in the box.

Why take off O'Keefe instead of a defender ? We needed to keep the ball and Leeds were not committing.

He is simply doing a job, performing a role, he adds nothing that any decent journeyman would give us. He gets paid to make decision to change things, but he doesn't have it in his locker.....

If he kept Okeefe on and took a defender off he would have been playing 2-4-3

Wouldn't have put Ameobi on for Lawrence though

Ameobi has to play according to the loan agreement personally negotiated by Dalman

He didn't come on at Bristol so I think that rumour is wrong.

You fool, we were 3 at the back, had we took Connerly off we would have been 2 at the back. I'm going guess you wasn't there last night because Connerly was actually playing as a midfielder towards the last 10 and Manga was left on his own for large portions of that time. I don't like Daddy Long Legs but it was a change that had to happen take off a slow winger for someone with pace to run at the defence, Zohore came on hit the wood work and had a chance saved had it not been for Leeds' goalkeeper we would have won buy a comfortable margin.

Sorry just cant agree with this.

Noone for Whitts made sense as there was space on the wing so a more direct running threat was more suited.

The introduction of Ameobi spread the play further with two more direct wingers plus Ameobi is pacier than Lawrence so good to bring on running at tired legs.

Zohore is more of a physical presence than Saadi and with two wingers getting balls into the box also makes sense.

Can't see anything wrong with Slade's logic there and if not for an exceptional performance by Silvestri, some bad luck hitting the woodwork and some poor refine decisions we should have won that comfortably.

Everyone has their own opinoon but for me going to two at the back though would have just been madness.
