Things are looking alright for Cardiff down the right hand side. For all the frustration from Cardiff's lack of movement when it came to the final third in terms of a threat, there was plenty of positives the way the trio of Fabio, Tom Lawrence and Stuart O'Keefe linked with plenty of good possession and patience.

Granted, it came to little, but some of the interchange and build-up is a world away from some of the stuff offered up by this side 12 months ago.

On the other side of the pitch however things weren't looking so rosy.

Whitts was poor tonight and is so slow nowadays that my granny could beat him in a foot race. And she's been dead for 10 years.

The best thing you can say about Malone was that he tried hard but I felt we were weak both attacking wise and defensively down that side all game.
