I remember that programme it was fecking nuts, as well as the mental dwarf and human bear there was a giant goldfish that gave the girl a ride on his back. On the IDMb site one of the posters on there wrote this about The Singing Ringing Tree, funny as feck.

A completely true story:

Whilst in my local pub in Bath, a few Chrismas' ago, the cast of "Snow White & The 7 Dwarves" came to pub for a drink after a show. My friends, who knew my phobia of all things midget-based thought it'd be hilarious to ask them to come over and meet me. The fact that I was half-drunk only added to the experience, which started with abuse and soon ended with me attacking a midget.

The police were called.

Whilst being restrained outside the pub, I did try and explain to the officer my fear, as a result of watching this programme, and whilst he failed to take it on board, another officer, who was a few yards away, but listening, said to his colleague "Yeah, that programme was mental, I hate the little *beep* too!".

Any old bastards remember Children Of The Stones on HTV in '77? Brilliant and is regarded as the scariest kids programme ever made for kids. It was on a Friday just before the evening news if I remember correctly.
