Fair Play Respect to Ashley Williams :ayatollah:

Ashley Williams has played 28,252 of Swansea’s 28,980 league minutes since their League 1 promotion in 2008.

Insane stat.

Can't stand them or him, apart from when he's playing for Wales, but fair play that is brilliant :thumbright:

why can't you stand him? ah, yes because he plays for Swansea. I know I'm in the minority when saying this, I'm finding the attitude you just displayed boring, petulant and childish. It's a constant theme on the forum, I ask that it ends

That bloke just doesn't miss matches, talk about value for money. Whatever they pay him, he should be the top earner

As a footballer, yeah. Just find it natural to not like Swansea players when they're playing for them, like I say no problem when he plays for Wales and I'm not one of those who don't agree with him being captain because he's born in England. Would say he's a better Wales captain than Aaron Ramsey.

I could lie and say I hope he does well when he pulls on a Swansea shirt, but I don't.

Just being honest.

As I said, I'm in the minority, the majority will agree with your views. A crap out of form Ashley Williams at Swansea means a Welsh defence at the Euros, which I might add, a lot of fans are spending huge amounts to watch that will be opened up like the beers the missus just brought back, very quickly.

Welsh players at Swansea deserve respect and goodwill, once again I will reiterate my view as a minority view however strange I might find opposing ones.

Fair enough, we all have different views and opinions,

In an ideal world he would be clapped at every corner of the ground playing in a Jack shirt at the CCS.

If Tan can hand out red scarf's and City fans will wear them, then surely it's not too much to ask that they can appreciate an inspirational leader of the Welsh National Team

Exactly. The last thing we as Wales need is Swansea relegated right before the Euros, with two of their defenders being regulars and mainstays of Wales' defence!

You know what you wrote could be described controversial, thought provoking too. I am in total agreement. I would love to know how Swansea being relegated actually enhances the National team's prospects.
