Fair do's. I wish he'd stayed here rather than having his head turned after his one and only England Cap! 
Hugely affected by thane success and never really the same afterwards at any club, including ours and that IMHO was a shame for him and a he disappointment of Dave Jones, who rescued his career just as he did for several others, including Micheal Coral

He scored 20 goals in 30 games last season for them is shows online. 
In February 2015, Bothroyd signed for J2 League side Júbilo Iwata. He scored two goals on his debut in a 3-1 win against Giravanz Kitakyushu.
In the 2015 season, he was the top scorer in the J2 League. This aided his team to achieve promotion to Japan's top league, the J1 League.

Looks like that the BBC article mentions j 1

And people like to remind him of what could of been. He's doing brilliant out there and can earn a very decent salary if not already.
