' SHOCK BLUEBIRDS,BUT & HIGHEST CROWD '

Sun Mar 06, 2016 5:33 pm

SHOCK!! BLUEBIRDS, BUT A GOOD SHOCK, WIN BACK-TO-BACK GAMES & HIGHEST CROWD EXPECTED THIS TUESDAY NIGHT AT HOME TO LEEDS UNITED.

It has been a long time coming, but perhaps it has come at just the right time.

Russell Slade’s Bluebirds last won two games on the bounce 30 games ago when they beat Huddersfield in the Welsh capital following a victory away at Nottingham Forest.

They've now beaten Preston home and Bristol City away on the bounce.

That lack of consistency, of course, has been the main reason Slade’s side have found themselves playing catch-up for most of the campaign. It was not pretty at Ashton Gate, but the Bluebirds do have determination about them and are so hard to beat.

It is just one loss in nine games now for the Welsh club. Could things finally be coming right for Cardiff at the right time?

Now they need to do something they have not done all season and that is win three on the bounce now.

Can they do it this Tuesday night at home to Leeds United? where the highest crowd of the season is expected.

I'm starting to worry. Bloody law of averages says if Cardiff make the pkay offs then we'll meet and the inevitable will happen :(

Please no, it can't be that cruel can it :?

I have thought for a while now that the four teams in the playoffs would be burnley, brighton, derby, cardiff, with brighton beating derby, cardiff beating burnley, and cardiff beating brighton in the final, now that would be great.

For me Annis a surprising thing I didn't even realise was we have only lost 8 games this season out of 35, 4 of those defeats came to teams in the top 6.. sadly 2 of the 8 defeats did come against Rotherham and MK Dons who are both in the bottom 4.

Looking back at a few games we did under perform against teams where we should be realistically be beating but to think at some points this season some wanted Slade out despite losing 8 games out of 35 which is the same as Hull or someone in the top 3.. we should be getting beat Slade and praising a lot more with that type of record and the form we are in right now.

The form has come at a good time and we have got 3 wins out 6 on the road in 2016 which is not a bad return considering 2 of them 6 away games was against very strong teams and both in the top 3.

It says we haven't won three on the bounce all season but we have if you just refer to the league as we beat Wolves then Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield but we did lose a cup match to Mk dons in between Wolves and Forest.

Anyways good news about the expected large crowds and the bigger the crowds the more we can get behind the team and give them the push they need to win.

I think we will beat Leeds Tuesday as right now were on the up and feeling positive about things, hopefully the fact that we got a good chance to go above Sheffield Wednesday as they're playing Brighton will fire up the boys even more to kick on for the win.

Im going for a 3-1 and a third consecutive win for the Bluebirds
Come on you Bluebirds :ayatollah: :bluebird:
