Great to have a goal scoring midfielder

Immers is the first real scoring attacking midfielder since Kavanagh. Where could we have been if we had got him earlier on in the season? An exciting player, not class by any stretch, but aggressive and knows where the goal is.

What happened to Gunnar yesterday? Injured or simply dropped from the full 18 man squad??

Hopefully not dropped. He's a better option from the bench than having zohore AND saadi there.

True with Whitts and very much point taken, but I wouldn't say he was an attacking aggressive midfield type. With appearances and goals Whitts is approaching or might not be to far away from legendary status. Quite a few of his goals have been penalties, or from a wide or wing role, I'm just thinking more straight through the middle like Kav.

Immers isn't playing in the same role as Kav though he's playing a more forward role than midfield. Kav was an all action central midfielder.
