Lee Peltier will miss this one after coming off at half time at Bristol City. The Bluebirds’ right-back left the game on crutches but X-rays revealed he only had bruising and there was no break, he will be assessed over the next week. David Marshall picked up a small back injury towards the end of the last outing but should be fit to play.

Fabio was likely to miss out but in Peltier’s absence he may be rushed back to fill-in, alternatively Connolly will start at right-back and Morrison will come in at centre-half. Peter Whittingham and Lex Immers were both taken off as precautions at Ashton Gate but both should start again on Tuesday.

LEEDS PREDICTED 4-1-3-2 V CARDIFF: TOP GOALSCORER TO RETURN

Steve Evans could be able to select top goalscorer Chris Wood for the first time in over a month as Leeds travel to Cardiff on Tuesday night in the Championship.

Wood has not played since January 26th and has missed almost the entirety of a difficult period for Leeds because of a hamstring problem.

Evans’ side have managed just three goals in the five league without him and recorded their first league win in ten matches with a narrow 2-1 win over Bolton.

The victory came at a cost though with first-team regulars Lewie Coyle, Souleymane Doukara and captain Liam Cooper all picking up injuries.
Full-back Coyle is still waiting to learn the extent of his injury after being stretched off, while Doukara and Cooper will be assessed before the game.
Striker Doukara’s absence could force Evans to take a chance on Wood or stick with Mirco Antenucci alone upfront after the 31-year-old grabbed a brace against Bolton.

Leeds were not exactly brilliant against strugglers Bolton, but managed to allay fears that the Whites could be dragged into a relegation battle after being battered 4-0 by Brighton and Hove Albion in their previous game.

Wood is still Leeds’ top goalscorer with eight in the Championship and could return to fire the Whites to their first away win in five attempts.

Leeds (possible): Silvestri; Berardi, Cooper, Bellusci, Taylor; Diagouraga; Bridcutt, Cook, Carayol; Antenucci, Wood.
