Play Off place - Is it in our hands?

With Wednesday losing today and the table looking as it is, even if Brum and Ipswich win their games in hand, they will be 2 points ahead of us. We play all three of these sides before the end of the season. It could be argued that the 6th place position is ours to lose. Obviously I'm not proposing that we need to win all our remaining 11 games - none of the teams around us will do that either however, if we match results and manage to beat all three of them, the play off place is ours.

We don't actually rely on any other results than our own any more. It's ours to lose.

Definitely and the games against Brum and Wed will be the most crucial.

didnt think we would be in this position a couple of months ago- Slade has won me over its all about results & he`s getting them.

Let's not as fans get to carried away, when we do this we tend to chuck a load of pressure on the team in the past.

And if we win the play off games we are promoted. So really promotion is in our own hands

Maybe they are the wrong words but I sense fans are now expecting the playoffs, it adds pressure , our fans aint the best under pressure. My point was more let's just see how games pan out.

But the manager and the players have consistently talked about the playoffs being the target.... how is it going to add pressure that the fans are starting to believe it too?

And the fans didn't believe them, a target yes buts that's all.
Now some fans seem to believe it. Seems fair.
Paul I'm sure you like.me have been to many games where we have been in and around the play offs. When we get close our fans go a Little bit crazy lol.

Not sure what your point is, I'm on about the fans not what the manager and players think. Let's be honest they have talked a lot of rubbish.

I don't think you understand.
Difference between pressure on the team and supporting. I've been to games away where we have been in the play offs and certain plays just get abuse as is the need for success.

Not being awkward you are creating issues that arent there. Fans have got on the teams back this season including you, always seem to save a little shot at slade in all your posts these days

If your point is that we should support the team and not let the desire for sucess get in the way of support then i get that, but we are level on points with 6th place so stands reason that people are going to discuss it more and more now as the season comes to a close..

But hey, at least slades kept us up , right?
