Form table is very encouraging!!

I was just looking at the last form table. We just beat Bristol away who have been doing well and we are currently playing better than Sheffeild and Birmingham! Who now thinks we haven't got a chance of a Play Off spot? I must admit it didn't look like it a few weeks ago. Slade has to take some credit for this!

Strange Bristol C, Preston and Brighton are all above us despite beating them over the past 6 game period

21 points from 11 league games since the start of the year, almost 2 points a game, with two home games to come this week. That is promotion form in anybody's eyes over the course of a season.

Interestingly, all four of the teams directly in competition with us for 5th and 6th position - Derby, Sheffield Weds, Ipswich and Birmingham - all have two away games this coming week. We've crept up on them and are now right in the mix.

It was a great day today, fantastic atmosphere from our fans and the team responded and dug in for a clean sheet, after being up against it for most of the second half. Not the best football, but who cares ? Away from home, in a derby game, in the middle of a play-off hunt- I'll take that all day long.

We've got huge momentum now, the players are playing for each other, and I feel that we, the fans, are starting to believe.
