Derby County are the most-watched Championship team live on Sky, with Ipswich, Leeds and Middlesbrough also proving popular.
Sky Sports subscribers watched the Rams more than any other Championship club in 82 of 119 regions across the United Kingdom - resulting in a huge victory for the East Midlands club.
Ipswich were the UK's second-favourite team to watch, proving most popular in 10 regions, while Leeds and promotion-chasing Middlesbrough were joint third with eight strongholds each.
Sky Sports analysed the viewing habits of 500,000 Sky homes in 119 UK postcode areas to find out which Championship team had been watched live three or more times the most often since January last year.
Derby proved to be the most-watched Championship club across the UK
Only five other Championship teams secured regions: Wolves (six), Brighton (two), Nottingham Forest, QPR and Sheffield Wednesday (all one).
Derby are currently fifth in the Championship and challenging for promotion to the Premier League, despite parting company with manager Paul Clement last month.
Matt Roberts, Sky Sports' Head of Sports and News Research, said: "The majority of Championship fans tuning in to watch Championship games live on Sky were from the older generation, and Derby have figured in England's top two tiers since 1992/93 and were prominent in the old First Division throughout the '70s.
"However, what was surprising was the Rams' overwhelming majority of support across the UK. Many people expected Leeds, in particular, to win a considerably higher number of regions."
