Vincent Tan

It seems to me..having watched him over the last few years, that he does things from the heart, down to how he spends his money, and how he trusts his managers with his business.. I might be completely wrong, but to me he seems very genuine. He gave a lot to charity while in the premier, he his paying off the debt, he has backed our club, he did say he would re-brand us, which i hated the most, but he did warn us.( even though i did not believe at the time that he would go ahead with it)..I think, he has a problem with handling the press and publicity in his favour, which loan notes hamman and tax man risdale managed with ease while they abused the club and us fans..but for me, he his learning and correcting his mistakes. Must be very difficult eating humble pie from his high position..

Good luck Tan, i got a good feeling about the future..He might actually be the 1st cardiff owner who does everything he has promised,(in a roundabout way). Maybe Rick wright falls into this category as well, but he never had the wealth to take us further as he stated at the time.

I actually enjoyed the recording of his recent meeting with fans and was heartened by what he said in that and by reports coming out of the meeting he had with the club's players!

Don't say it too loudly but I think the club may well have now positively turned a significant corner! ;)

Can't stand him. Like many other charlatan owners, seen the money in football and chased it. Wanted us to be successful in red the numpty thought it is commercialy ly a more profitable colour.

One day the penny will drop that he doesn't give a shit about the traditions of the club or the people of s.wales

i cant see where he has chased the money. he has spent a fortune on the club, hence the reason to pay off the debt..I personally believe he has taken a lot of bad advice from people, and tried to run before he could walk..but like i said, i think he is learning now, and has ran the club as a business instead of a hobby for the last year and a bit.

No more or less than any other Chairman/Owner, ThomasC, but at least he's put HIS money where his mouth is and appears ready to take a certain responsibility for his previous actions!

At what point do you give a person (in this case Tan) a chance to redeem himself? :?

Because one thing that is certain is that if he doesn't follow up on recent promises he will lose a lot more face than he is alleged to have lost in his own circle to date! ;)
