Good luck!
I'm trying not to expect too much now, I'm just going to train as best I can and try to put in a good shift on the day.
The key thing is to ignore everyone around you and run your own race. It's a fantastic feeling when you get it just right and overtake loads of people on the second half! Could be tough for me with my lack of race experience but often the less you expect the more you get.

The only thing I can say about a lack of race experience is don't leave the occasion get to you, I was told this on my 1st race and within seconds I knew what they meant, don't go sprinting off just run your own race, even think of it as a training run and don't change anything you do on a normal running day
