We think we have it bad !!


In Serbia corruption is rife especially in football. When the present President was elected he is a Red Star Belgrade supporter and he has banned any sponsors giving money to Partizan Belgrade making sure it only goes to Red Star.

With the lack of income coming into Partizan they have had to sell there best players, now this just isn't confined to the football but also Partizan Basketball and I believe the water polo.

Recently a couple of weeks ago Red Star played OFK Belgrade and at half time OFK was winning 3-0 but at half time I am told and was even said by some OFK players they were threatened to fix the game and at the final whistle it finished 3-6 to red Star.

Then on the weekend Partizan was hosts to Red Star and Partizan was denied a clearest penalty you will ever see. Then Red Star scored from a free kick that never was and to top it off a perfectly good goal was ruled out for an apparent off side.
According to the Partizan fans they knew what was coming when they heard who the ref was.

At the bottom I will put the link I hope it works so make your own mind up of those controversial incedent yourself I was shocked when I saw it.

Red Star are now 36 pts above Partzan and at the moment the whole situation is killing Partizan Fans and there gates have plummeted because of this with attendances being below 9000 for normal games and sometimes around 7000. I know we have had it bad but not what these fans go through. For me if we got that preferential treatment over the Jacks I couldn't show my face but Red Star fans are revelling in it. It's criminal what's going o.

First I want to thank Nukes for this thread. Second, I will correct some mistakes he made. It is not President of Serbia but Prime Minister. And OFK Belgrade - Red Star, the scar was 2:6, frist half 2:0 for OFK Belgrade.

I could be petty and compare this to moaning Jacks who are always up for a good conspiracy theory based on inbred paranoia (remember the protest walk around the Liberty against refereeing decisions ) but on the face of it there does seem to be a problem in Serbia with football corruption.

However football corruptions travels far and wide and it wouldn't surprise me if the answer to why that bunch of lucky Jack B******d's were ever promoted to the PL and why the frigging hell they are still there is due to Carwyn Jones (the First Minister of Wales) being a Jack?

Last night Prime Minister had interview on Serbian National TV and he said that Serbian government helped both clubs, but Red Star got more money than Partizan, 5 or 10 times more, he said.
