Driving to Bristol

Anyone driving themselves to Ashton Gate on Saturday? If so, where is the best place to park?
I haven't been there in years, last time i went, i parked the other side of the KFC with no issues, but that was 2002 ish so i'm not sure if they stop you doing that these days.

Drive past the ground on the A3029 , 2nd roundabout turn right into Sainsbury's however not sure if they will book you for parking over 2 hours, but there are side street in this area, just be careful walking to the ground,

Bristol here, parking is a real issue around Ashton Gate nowadays ( not that it's ever been easy!).
Re Sainsburys, they have a 90 minute limit on parking, but I've parked in there 2-3 times this season ( for 3-4 hours ) and have yet to receive anything through the post in relation to a fine!
Most of the time it's a case of street parking, but the streets within a mile of the ground get full very early.

Bluredwr, Bedminster cricket ground parking has totally changed, the land where everyone used to park is now completely fenced off, and the only parking is now in the actual car park of the cricket club. If you know someone involved with the cricket club you may be ok, but otherwise I would say it's a complete no no!

Good luck with finding somewhere to park, it's not easy, the only advice I would give is to get to Bristol early?!

My boss (a Bristol City fan) recommends Cumberland Road. Its about a mile to walk but avoids a lot of the traffic when getting out. It's the long road along the river when heading to the SS Great Britain
