I worked out as a 20 year old if I had a valid NUS card it'd have been cheaper to buy a ticket on a match day basis than the cost of my season ticket this season
Give it to the kids yes as Primary School kids may enjoy it but it's taking the mick that the loyal fans are the ones paying more and more than the ones who pick and choose when to come

I can guarantee that some of those who attended will get the City bug which they will only get by going to a game - its how it starts. The offer should also be extended to the parks clubs teams across Cardiff/Vale/RCT and wherever really. It would be good for the club to show their appreciation of ST's though, even if it was just the kids. I also think that our away fans should also receive something and again, even if its just the youngsters. Last season, the Jerks gave the away fans a shirt whilst all we got last was a Peter's Pies 'Lips & Arseoles' Sausage Roll.

There were loads of young kids in the family on Saturday and you could feel the excitement of going into the stadium.
It works as well, I know that. My daughter came home with a flyer six seasons ago from Cardiff city community after a coaching session at the school. I had only been a few time since she was born (mrs stopped working), it was free for her and a fiver for me, she loved it and the rest is history. I returned but this time with an 8 year old, different day out but probably more enjoyable than the 8 pints and steak & chips before the game.
It has to start somewhere.
