I felt we missed Whitts' quality and composure on the ball yesterday, also missed his movement coming off the wing into the little pockets of space he's been picking up. Also I think it didn't help our quality on the ball with Ralls being sacrificed from the middle to fill Whitts' absence, we missed his little bit of extra quality that Okeefe and Gunnars couldn't provide.
Fingers crossed Whitts gets back to fitness soon.

We need that quality on the field and to Slades credit he has played him in he real position.

Agree, we deserved the win yesterday and were always on top, but did lack a bit of composure.

We certainly did!

NOT the answer to that conundrum, I'm afraid!

Whitts' absence was very noticeable. There were a lot of times when we could've just done with his composure, as there were a fair few panic passes and clearances from our midfield players.
That said, we won, which says a lot about our squad. I just think that if Whitts was playing, it would've been a more comfortable performance and final score. Fair play to the lads though, never looked like losing yesterday.
Whitts will be key in our run at the playoff places though

Didn't go did you ? Ye we won the game and fair play to the boys they put a top shift in and done what was needed to get the three points. Just an observation though, I thought we were a couple of notches off the Brighton game quality wise and I think whitts absence was a key factor.

I think gunnar works best in a 5 man mid but isn't good enough on the ball for a 442.
