Since you made the decision to get rid of Jones and Mason we now have movement and purpose up front. Russ would still be playing the same long ball after long ball to static and pointless forwards.

Agree, we're not missing Jones at all. And maybe not signing watt was a blessing in disguise with the form pilks has been in, although I did like watt.

Watt was good on the ball, but Pilkington is superb and unlike Watt he gets th best out of those around him.
