Well done to our club (free tickets)

Fri Feb 26, 2016 11:25 am

Well done to our club
Just been told
They have been giving out free tickets to schools for the Preston game
Let's hope they are all taken up
And we get a win scoring a few
And those who use the free tickets get the bug

With the new season ticket prices for next season adult and a under 16 from about £200 it is such good value at long last

About time. These youngsters could be the future fan base the club will rely on. :ayatollah:

Don't see why we don't keep this going, to be honest. Even with the great ticket prices, I'm not expecting more than 18k-19k per game next season (would love to be surprised though!), so bring in a couple thousand kids from the schools each week. A half empty stadium doesn't benefit anyone, end of the day.

Not trying to be negative but these so called new fans with free tickets are gonna take one look at the bunk atmosphere and run for the hills never to be seen again. Because I know I would as a first timer. I'm gonna get some stick for this comment but anybody who says the atmosphere is not dire is a liar.

It's a better atmosphere than it was a year ago, for me. The place was venomous last season, and even for a lot of the season before. Fill more seats, get more people singing, and we'll be laughing.

For the record, we aren't the only team who's stadium isn't full of thousands of singing supporters anymore. It's like that across a lot of the country.

Crying shame though fella it's like football is dying and nobody has the answers to solve it. Let's hope the game today with free ticks handed out really helps the atmosphere and gate and I will hold my hands up and say fair play.

i'm in favour of robo-fans. part human/cyborg. They are the future and are able to comply with crowd control regulations implicitly as part of their programming

My mistake, City gave about 3,000 tickets away for today's game :ayatollah:
