TONIGHT IS A BUSY NIGHT - LOAN SIGNING ?

Through all the cost cutting the club are still trying to get in a loan signing and they have enquired about Glenn Loovens coming on loan from Celtic with the Glasgow club paying a large part of his wages.

If the club get our current players to accept their bonuses to be deferred til the end of the season and manage to get the likes of Loovens on loan with his parent club paying the vast amount of his wage I will be amazed but as I keep saying if I am told it I will pass it on.

Great signing if it comes off.

We may have to depend on loan signings, but if there's quality then there's no reason why we can't get them in (keeping the budget in mind)

I always like watching Glenn play at NP - I wonder if he would ever return though ?

No in my books. Loovens was always the "Floating" defender, so would always look the stronger of the two. Rog put in the tackles when needed. But this would be a magnificent signing if pulled off. But I'm not holding my breath.

I wouldn't be so sure.

Although unlike your good-self i think Hudson is a decent centre-half , I'd expect Loovens to work better with Gerrard.

If Loovens came I'd be over the moon. He is fckin class
