ALBION boss Chris Hughton has no regrets about making changes for the heaviest defeat of his reign.
Hughton utilised his promotion-chasing squad for the 4-1 defeat at Cardiff, four days after the Seagulls held leaders Hull to a 0-0 draw at home.

Beram Kayal, Tomer Hemed and Jamie Murphy were rested to the bench, Kayal because he has been carrying a groin injury.
Hughton told The Argus: "We've got a really competitive squad and some players that have played through knocks.
"You can't go through a whole season not changing the team. The three that came in, Andrew Crofts, Bobby Zamora and Jiri Skalak, are very good players so there are no thoughts that I shouldn't have changed the team.
"Beram has been excellent for us. He wants to play in every single game but it's my job as manager to make decisions and decide when to protect players a little bit and freshen.
"Beram has been in good form but he had been carrying a little bit of a problem. I don't regret the changes I made, all I regret is that we didn't defend well enough on the goals that we conceded."
Kayal, Murphy and Hemed are all set to return at Bristol City tomorrow night.

Fit-again Liam Rosenior is also poised for his first start since November and captain Gordon Greer, back from hamstring trouble as an unused sub at Cardiff, could come in to stiffen the defence.
Albion conceded four goals in Wales for the first time since losing by the same score in the second leg of the play-offs at Derby in May 2014.
