With Manga starting stats

Not sure where our stato's get their stats from but this would be interesting especially if we ignore the first couple when he was obviously rusty.

f**k sake. You cant ask for stats with him in the team and then go "hang on, dont count the first few"

Point taken but you get my drift, since he has been motoring we are showing signs of life.

We've had some great centre halves at the club during my time supporting the club and Bruno is up there with the best of them.

My first favourite was Don Murray (despite the odd own goal!) then Joe Dwyer of course and in recent years the club has been well served by the likes of Collins, Gabbidon, Loovens and Johnson and even Darren Purse.

Love watching Bruno play - he's such a talented footballer.

If we don't get promoted next season I think he'll be off, either back abroad or to a mid table Premier League team.

Murray was my favourite too, although not the best by any means. Harris and Ratcliffe were past their best when they played for us but still quality footballers. Gabbidon was excellent too.

You might not believe this but the stats say we're better without him.

When he doesn't play we average 1.57 points per game.

When he plays we average 1.45 points per game. When he starts we average 1.45 points per game.

I did the same exercise last season expecting we would have been in he play offs if he'd been available all year but it was the same !

Yet it appears when things are going well he's the steady influence that's the main cause of it. Cant explain it myself.

But yeah. The first four apperances of his 13 include a 2 minute appearance in a win over Wolves but then 3 losses to Hull, Birmingham and MK Dons. His form/record since the new year has been much better

on the bench yes after a lengthy lay off. at a time when we were keeping clean sheets for fun
