Well in terms of wages the Championship is by far the highest paid second tier league.

Bundesliga 2 get excellent crowds, i'd probably fancy better results for them in a competition simply for the national team being current world champions. Standard of German players prob cope with our second tier.

I did read an interview from a german Brentford player who once played at ST Pauli found the standard better/tougher in English pyramid though
