there was a documentary on him a little while back on BBC Wales. Well worth a look If you can find it. Played with the best and we'll respected by them as well.

The guy's a brilliant guitarist and so underrated as a musician and songwriter. I can recall him having 3 encores following the continued rapturous applause he received when he supported Clapton at the Motorpoint a few years ago.
He's also a thoroughly nice chap and of course a Cardiff City season ticket holder. Top man! :ayatollah:

Seem to recall my sister cutting his hair BITD. Thought he had some connection with Rhiwbina?

Very talented a decent bloke who has played with some of the greats. I saw the documentary and its definitely worth tracking down. I think he now lives in Rhiwbina, I'm sure some of it was filmed in his house there. I didn't realise that he sang backing vocals on The Who's 'Who Are you'.

When I was a kid one of my aunties was big into the Amen Corner, I can still remember some of the songs off the album she had (1968/69 ish). Im sure they were a few Valley players Pontypridd, Llanbradach) in the band then???

If you were constantly working with Harrison Clapton and waters amongst many others there's no more to be said really. The Clapton unplugged is a great bit of music.

They were all Welsh from Cardiff, Swansea, Neath, Ystrad and, as you said Llanbradach.

Saw him supporting Clapton at The Albert Hall.............................honestly, he was much better than Clapton who put on an I can't really be arsed performance. (Mind you, saw Dylan in New York who was his usual 'I REALLY can't be arsed' self and everyone loved it BECAUSE of that).

Good guy. Proper musician.

Definitely born in ystrad munich. His dads name was Ben and worked for the council as a road sweeper. Dave is his older brother. Work with his niece who is laughing at his family tree being re written on here. She'll get him to post later to put it to bed. Quality musician
