" WHO NEEDS A STRIKER ANYWAY? "

There has been a lot of hand-wringing and worry about which strikers should play for the Bluebirds. The answer to that, on this evidence at least, was no striker at all. Pilkington, a winger, was supported ably by Immers, a midfielder really. Of course both men can play up-front, but it is not their natural home. Against Brighton, particularly first-half Cardiff looked potent and very dangerous, They took their chances well too.
