we beat belguim in a night game with both mark hughes and giggsy scoring me thinks and we slipped in through the back door so to speak ! . still got my stub for the germany game and went with the rumney lot

A better night there never was, great save by Neville Southall right at the end. We also beat Belgium 3-1 in the same group a little earlier (and got a draw away) and Brazil in a friendly, best year for international footy that I remember just a shame it had to end in Nuremburg.
